Dr. T. Khanghura
Dr. Khanghura, founder and owner of Richmond Centre Optometry, was born and raised in the Lower Mainland.
He graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2000 with honours and went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry in 2005 from Pacific University, Forest Grove, Oregon. During his time at Pacific University, he completed rotations at the Veteran’s Affair Hospital in Tacoma, Seattle, and acquired extensive experience treating and managing ocular disease.
In his spare time, you can find Dr. Khanghura being active with his family, and coaching his son’s soccer team. Dr. Khanghura’s love for sports runs deep as he continues to play basketball, soccer and football within his local community.

Dr. P. Bassi
Dr. Bassi was born and raised in Vancouver, BC.
She completed her undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University. She continued her education at the University of Bradford, UK where she graduated with a Bsc Honors in Optometry.
Dr. Bassi had the pleasure of working in both private practice and at St. Thomas hospital, one of the biggest teaching hospitals in London UK. She later decided to move back to Canada to continue her patient care.Dr. Bassi’s special interests include myopia control, dry eye disease, ocular disease, and laser refractive surgery co-management.
In her spare time, Dr. Bassi enjoys travelling, being active whether it’s hitting the slopes in the winter or cycling in the summers, and spending time with her loved ones. She looks forward to being a part of your health care team & your eye doctor!

Dr. P. Atwal
Dr. Atwal was raised in Richmond, BC. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Oregon in 2008. She has many years of experience with vision correction, contact lens fittings, myopia control, pediatric exams and early diagnosis of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. She is a member of BC Doctors of Optometry, and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She is fluent in Punjabi.
Outside of the exam room, Dr. Atwal enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also loves to read and explore new places through travel.
